wah...been ages since i started blogging again..hahax...so gotta crack my brain to think what have happen 2 or 3 weeks ago...AH!...scary lehx...-.-"
ok..so todae is 28th...i will start from 2 weeks ago...damn..so long,,,so tt week...mr sorapol came to conduct our band...he is from Thailand...the conductor of Kasesart University's Band...Whoa...nice huh..then his interpretation as usual..is different from Mr Er's or shuld i say everyone's interpretation of music is different? never mind..its all the same.So when he came,at first all of us were very happy.But when we started to play Singapore Rhapsody according to his interpretation,Shu duan dun seem to like it.hahax,because at some parts he want the clarinet to play very loud then he was lik shouting 'cause he wanted them to play louder.Though he's not scolding them,its sounds scary,like his gonna kill someone..Haha...then the next day was sunday so there wasn't any practice.
monday came..its 11th april.we did the same things again and from what i heard,i felt the band had improved.but not the trumpets.i felt that they did not play like what Mr Er told them to do.The tone thingy,they sounded like erm..i don't know,just don't sound nice to me.And it remained like that until on Wednesday when Mr Er came with Mr Lee.Then they came in very 'rushly' because the moment shuqun performed finished,they rushed here.
OH!.i forgot to say the results of them..so i will annouce the them now then.Compassvale and Zheng Hua performed on the 1st day which is on Monday and Compassavale got a Gold.well done i will say,keep up the good job..but i felt they should be getting GWH(gold with honour) because they tone so good,the score so hard,trained so hard also.THEY SHOULD HAVE GET GOLD!!!!I wonder what the JUDGES are doing..but never mind,its already over..so let bygones be bygones.so next result is Zheng Hua ..they get a...SILVER!!!WHEE!Congrats to them...but then Mr Er say they didn't do well that day.Ok..so i annouce a few other bands' result for that day also then.Its rather shocking for me to hear Orchid Park to get GWH because they use to be from C.O.P ,then all of a sudden it became a GWH band..its so damn shocking.Even Mr Desmond Ng and Mr Ong were surprised.Becuase the intonation was bad,they didn't really play too together yet they can get GWH.Oh ya,then Marsiling also get GWH!!!!then all of us were like so shocked,overture jubiloso can get GWH man..maybe we shuld try that next time..then next is Yio Chu KAng,another shocking news.because they get silver...n they were gold in syf 2003...from wad i heard them during SSW practice,they were quite good..they SHULD DESERVE AT LEAST A GOLD!but too late...then xiao chuan said that the band result's were so odd must be because of the police band conductor or somthing..the police guy i would say..ahha..i think he say its him because maybe he like loud music, and the police band is a military band i suppose?oh never mind...then TKGS n YUHUA didnt get gwh ..OMG!how the hell did the judges judge?i seriously got no idea,pro bands cannot get gold,then normal/not bad bands can..what is this??!?!? then Shuqun get silver..silver my FOOT!GWH!!!they play so nice..they sound almost perfect to me then get silver..rubbish judging...
so back to where i stop.where i stop?oh ya..Mr Er they all then quickly rush back then came and tell us that if Sq cannot get gwh he gonna kill someone..but he didn't ..then that day Mrs Tan still come and listen to us.Then we got a bit of stress because the next day is SYF then she still come and stress us somemore..ahhax..then some were confused because they don't know follow Mr Er or Mr Sorapol's interpretation but luckily this problem was solved very qquickly.Then we did quite well for that day then we were released and went home to have a good rest.the moment i reached home was to do homework because mdm mathews said that we will be going back to school after performing and tian ze n afiq were coming to stay at my house.After i finished my homework,i called tian ze.he say afiq not going and he not going also..i was like WAD THE HELL?!?!? i rush all the way home then he say not coming..then went to stay at shu duan's house..she steal my customers=(..llol..ok continue next day
now is 14th April..the big day.,..when i reached school,school haven't open then some clarinetists arrived already,then they were playing their instru at the bus stop..whoa..haha..so i did so also..then the school gate was open then we went to the canteen.then i was playing music with them also,then do a bit of tuning.Then we went up,Mr Er was there already,because he went up when we were still playing the music.Then at first we do the warming up and some playing.he say we sounded like a COP band's tone.then we play again.he say not bad already.but flute intonation not very good,but still can la.then when we reached singapore conference hall,we saw Mr Desmond Ng and ming hwa(Mr Lim),then they were chatting with mdm mathews they all.then we went into the tuning room.we played the music and Mr Er say we did pretty well and the intonation the best for flutes for that day,perfeectly/almost perfectly in tune if i didn't remember wrongly.When it was our turn,i feel lik turning my head and take a look at the judges,but only manage to see Ms Tan,Mr Ng and Mr Lim.I don't feel nervous,maybe it's because there won't much people yet.But when we were playing..i began to a feel a bit of nervous,i don't know why also.But i was enjoying the playing until Peter broke his solo at the last note.then Mr Er looked fed up and he looked quite happy previously.Then we went off.We didn't go back to school after that which i don't know what the reason is that mdm mathews let us stay.then we listened to quite a number of bands.the band after Bartley was not bad and they both play same song call Digital Prism which we at first thought was Digital Prison.hahax.then the best band i heard was commonwealth n they playing seventh night of july.i tell you,THEY ARE GOOD!the almost everything was clear.but solo for the sax wasn't nice.he sound lik as if he was scared,because when he play,its sounded lik vibrato but using throat and was too fast..then the piccoloist was GREAT!he look professional also.he was sitting straight all the way,looked serious,no smile or anything.then his playing was great..the piccolo solo so was smooth then befor the solo..which is after the sad part..then got 1 part flute n piccolo shine out one..he play so smoothly oso..which i cant do it now..DAMN!...i wish i could play like him.even xiao chuan say he was good.he say my piccolo playing not good=(...lol -.-"..train lor what else...then as we waited for the result we were all very scared because the first two bands get bronze then we were the 3rd band..then the person annouce that we get...SILVER~!!!!YES!!WE were SOOOOO HAPPY!i jumped out from the chair i was sitting..hahax..then when the rest who went in to listen,many were crying...they happy until cry sia..hahax...
ok..then now is about the farewell lunch after school..all band members went..then i dunno y the sec1s go..haha..they enjoy the food for nothing sia..hahax..but tts the benefit of join band..wahaha..then after mrs tan gave a short speech then the lunch started..then after that band prac for sec1 commence..then before that was photo taking everywhere. people were taking photo's in sections or wif mr er..then mr er take photo until face tired le..ahhax..then after that a few of us were chatting with him about the syf thingy.then on sat was the barbecue farewell party..then most of the cooking was done by aiting they all..so guilty abomut it =x...we haven cook finish then zhuen/kah meng stupid sia,they throw water bomb to the cooking area,luckily no 1 was hitted n nv hit the food.luckily my radio nv kena or they DIE!the battery for the radio so bloody ex.!10 BUCKS FOR 6 BATTs!!!BLOODY HELL!!money suckers..lol..and its silly enough to bring a radio around causeway point with li bing they all in the afternoon..then overall was not bad i would say... n i end here for now...lol...
