damn modem!make me couldnt blog yesterday eh,and i had nothing to do now.SO GOTTA rewrite!LONG EVENTS YESTERDAY!!!
great.so i shall start from yesterday's entry:
'went to ssw quite early due to my request of having my mum driving me there=X.weren't alot of people there yet.only samuel,waigeng and song lin.then cam vanessa in awhile and so on =X...todae we played noah's ark as the starting of da day.was played not bad,just that i feel the impact wasn't great enough due to the fact that there wasn't much players present.
next we played bamberg fantasy.oh yeah.before i continue.something odd abomut certain scores happen.some of the photocopied scores went missing.con scores/parts went missing alike -.-.its was as if some body took it.but that couldnt have happened.we got 3 librarians over there when i didnt go for oni 3 weeks =X..hmmm..odd.right,back to the previous topic.eh i was saying,bamberg fantasy.went through the whole piece,sounds not bad but as mentioned,not full impact cuz of e same reason.but in e middle of it,was interruppted by andrew for he nid to see the librarians.he wanted 2 of us to do the printing of credentium immediately for sight reading and one of us to take out saga candida,symphonic overture and fantasy variation for sight reading as well..cool pieces all of them.then i leave the job for printing to sam and hong ki while i go take the scores.haha.
so after playing bamberg,we sight read fantasy variation.so cool the score!but its not easy as its grade 5.haha..had the flute soli part.and its so cool!double tongue all the way.!AHAHA..and cheryl was telling me that she wanna single tongue at first.haha.then we sight read credentium next.it reminds me of ponte romano,THE FIRST FIRST FIRST FIRST PIECE i have played for swo when i FIRST FIRST FIRST went inside the music studio over there.but.it was expected,why?because both werre composed by the same composer.just lik james swearingen,the pieces were all somehow similar once you heard more of his songs.
After lunch break.we tried symphonic overture.in the beginning,took a long time because of havin the need to have the trumpets being able to play the correct rhythm as its their melody from the start.and waigeng(concert master,also flautist) was telling me that might nv reach our parts as our parts were so far away from the fact to play.haha....the piece was sight read through,well not for me actually because i had the score long time ago,BUT STILL ITS AS HARD AS IT WAS COMPARE FROM LAST TIME!after that we played marimba concerto and having jia rong as the soloist.seeing great potentials in him,im sure he wil be a great percussionist next time.haha.AND we also tried out saga candida as the last piece of the day.don't sound nice leh..haha..but nvm,the others were sight reading.and again -.-.i nv practise the piece too,so it seems not so easy also though have played it lots of times already =X.
After the prac,andrew gave each section some papers.and its quite shocking to me -.-..to be e principal player for flutes which is wad im currently holding.i must be able to play all the scales!and for C major and minor,i must be able to play 3 octaves while the rest of the scales 2!well =X..thats alot man -.-..and must be able to play fantasy variation well,good dymanic range,good tone,good sense of intonation blabla bla..right..gotta buck up alot then!

YEAP and that's something which i had tried to blog yesterday.and for todae\s entry.
well..there wont be anything much yet =X..so..will blog tonight!=)
