Flut3z - My life~ My blog~ My flute~

Saturday, January 19, 2008

whoa. it's already saturday and i have been back home for like less than 2 hours. lol.tired like hell. eyes closing.

feel like i'm gonna fall sick soon, throat feels weird, keep on having phlegms.

everytime when there's the mention of that particular topic, i would feel .. resentment. don't ask me why i don't know, even if you demand an answer from me, i would say i don't know why too.

Mr Tan came to band. before that i was working on peter and the wolf . bla. 'coolness'.
he brought along poet and peasant overture . i like that piece. but playing that kind of running notes on a piccolo? not my kind. flute would be preferred but.. oh wells, unless ellijah don't mind playing...

an excellent piece to showcase your strings and woodwinds if you are in an orchestra, brilliant piece to showoff your woodwinds section if you are playing in a band.

The piece says that it's grade 4. well i would say the technical aspects is grade 4.the expression is within the music thus easier to express, whereas pieces like hanukkah is grade 5 not because of difficult passages, but harder expressions, the notes are much easier as compared to the ones in poet. but oh well..

Some things ought not be mentioned , neither should they be brought up in band. the unspeakables.

Poulenc's and Faure's works are excellent pieces to work on. ah, french composers. paris conservetoire eh. haha.

excellent job done by the orchestra and chorus, especially the timpanist.

that conductor looks familiar. seen him conducting other orchestras on youtube before. lol

maths test sucked, before the test went through questions . then we do the quiz, not test, and not surprising. i couldn't answer them. this is soo god damn it[sorry christians, catholics, taoists(??),buddhists(?!) and others ]. it's really sucky when you see juniors able to do and you are like' what in the world is going on, i don't know.'

lol, i'm trying.

ps. Zen, sorry dude. was abit lazy to go to your personal msg to copy and paste, then forgot.lol.
