Personally speaking, i feel that, it is a musician's job ,or rather performance major musician's job to practice your instruement everyday. Why?
Simple, it's your job, it's your work. You work to live, of course? You became a musician because you love music. You became a musician because making music brings you joy. Thus as a musician, you should practice everyday.
And now, to the role of a practioneer of music, or in short, music student. As a music student, you must must must must 1000% be practicing on your instrument(er.. performance major once again, ok la, teaching also. LOL) Why? reason is even more simple! you ain't a professional yet! A professional musician is a professional musician because he/she is skilful enough already, and normally they don't practice only when they really can't(i guess, just making a wild guess, no offence if any professional pop by! T_T ) oh, and so, a music student, yea. minimium, for me at least, my teacher said i should practice 3 hours at least and i was thinking, hmmm right. maybe make it 4 at least, since 4 seems nicer, 'cause it's a even number, and no, i wasn't thikning of 死. lol.
And im guilty of not acheieving that, and look at what the hell i am doing right now?
It's so tiring, one thing comes after another, assignment then test, and i did not practice my flute much(yes i know, excuses). Headache has become 家常便饭. wait, did i even use it correctly? lol.
and stop correcting my english if there is anything wrong with it, my english ain't fabulous. Not shooting, i don't even know if there's anyone commenting on it.
Note. Whatever i wrote just now was base of what i felt, so any inaacurate answers are purely coincidental. lol.
