I can't believe I'm actually really studying for my exam... Simply astonishing...
Just wanted to show this part which i saw and was o_O surprised by it.
Was studying for Development of Concerto and reading up on Bartok and this came across! Ok, so this is quoted from the book ' A history of the Concerto' : 'The fourth movement, Intermezzo Interrotto(interrupted intermezzo) . . . . . . . . . . . The main themes are folklike, while the interruption is a quotation by the clarinet from shostakovich's seventh symphony.. . . . . found the theme so ridiculous that he decided to parody it. Jeers and rude noises from the orchestra greet the tune.'
Holy cow~ and while i was quoting this passage, my windows media player was playing that part, how cool can that get to be? ._. and i heard the jeering parts.. -.-" really evil, Mr Bela Bartok.. even if you don't understand music, you can tell that the tune was being made fun of, that is just how obvious it was -.-" Bartok's dislike for Shostakovich.. LOL!
OK , back to studying the rest of the darn stuffs. Shucks i dio dao lor, bet must be sleeping like a pig =\ -evil grin- eh heh heh.
